signed and inscribed lower left 'Leicester Square,/ Reynolds House/ demolished/ CBKM/1937' and with an old newspaper article from February 1937 pasted to the back, and inscription verso 'For a Slade [?] class... I read this so/ I went to paint it/ the day after it was/ already being demolished [?].'
